Poem Tuesday: Two-Faced

Thought I’d just post something random as I continue to work through minor color adjustments to my cover image and waiting for each new proof to arrive in the mail.  In other news, I’m writing again and becoming more productive.

Once you lie to yourself

You can lie to anybody

Lie with anybody

Lie with yourself staring skywards

On a bed without sheets—

Tell yourself it doesn’t matter

That nobody lies near

To give and exchange naked lies.
